“Apparently they like me, which is awesome,” says Siren, whose performing prowess and attitude have led to return appearances for several studios in recent months.
The former gymnast has landed in three different volumes of both Lesbian Legal and Mother-Daughter Exchange Club and four editions of Women Seeking Women, the winningest lesbian series of all time from Girlfriends Films, which is in its 18th year as an industry leader in all-girl porn.
“I have all these DVDs and a lot of them I’m on the cover and that’s fucking awesome,” Siren admits. “So I’m really grateful for them. I really wouldn’t be here without them. I appreciate them seeing me as talent and using me as talent and I hope they continue to.”
Siren came back to the porn industry in the fall of 2017 after a hiatus of more than four years. When she made her adult film debut in 2013 she was Bella Bends and did less than a dozen scenes for only a handful of companies before realizing it wasn’t the right time for her to go all in with adult.
“I just didn’t feel very great about myself, so once I started getting pictures back it was like I don’t want to do this. This isn’t what I feel like I look like and what I feel like,” Siren recalls. “Somewhere around five years later I came back; I actually started back on this website called MyFreeImplants.
“And with this site I raised the money for my boob job. And I did that by showing pictures of my body, making little video clips and responding to messages.
“And I think that gave me so much confidence—that these guys are paying to talk to me the way I was. And yeah, the main goal was to transform myself, but what they really liked was me—the way I responded to them, the way I did certain things for them and they just made me feel like OK, I can be sexy no matter who I am, no matter what I look like.”
Siren says the first key moment of her comeback came when she was spotted on Twitter by veteran director Ariel X, who booked her to perform on Kink’s wrestling site, “And I had been wanting to do Ultimate Surrender since I was Bella,” Siren explains. “Like years and years ago I always wanted to do that because I’m a gymnast. That’s who I am. I love being competitive and getting gnarly and stuff, so she pretty much pulled me back into the business. And I did a couple shoots for her. Actually, I ended up ruining that boob job from the wrestling, so I ended up having to get another boob job. Then I had to take a couple months off.”
It wasn’t long after Siren showed off her athleticism on the mat that she caught the attention of longtime Girlfriends Films director B. Skow.
“He actually noticed me from my Twitter, like pictures from the wrestling. Then I started with Girlfriends Films and since then it’s kind of taken off,” Siren says.
Skow hired Siren several times before Dan O’Connell—the founder of Girlfriends Films who sold his studio to Moose in 2014 but continues to produce and direct—joined the party.
“There is no question that Serene is one of the top three MILF’s in the business right now—at least for girl/girl,” O’Connell tells AVN. “She’s not just a great performer, but she seems to have a perpetual smile on her face and always gives our sets a good vibe.
“I’ve shot a few thousand scenes and—at this point in my career—Serene is one of the only people who can still show me new sex positions. Two of her best scenes for me have been with Lacy Lennon (Women Seeking Women 165) and Victoria Voxxx (for our upcoming Women Seeking Women 168). These two scenes are off the charts! She is so good from every perspective that I really treasure getting to work with her. She’s smart and quickly figures out the characters I throw at her.”
It turns out Siren always found herself attracted to women but did not have many chances to show it before adult.
“Because where I’m from is like pretty conservative,” says Siren, who now resides in Las Vegas. “So I’ve had a few girlfriends who were not really girlfriends but they were curious and we played. But it was never really, ‘Let’s get down!’
“I’ve had a couple threesomes and those are fun but in my circumstances it’s always been geared towards the man.
“So this is kind of feeling like it’s my own personal explorative journey of my sexuality as well."
Siren points to a few times where she got to be the first girl/girl experience for another performer.
“And that’s an honor and a privilege,” she says. “And I try to be very open and careful, but at the same time overly sexy so they fucking love it; they love it so much that they don’t stop.”
Whatever Siren is doing it appears to be working quite well, according to Girlfriends Films owner and president, Moose.
“Since joining us at Girlfriends Films Serene Siren has definitely won over the hearts of our fans!” Moose tells AVN. “The numbers don’t lie. She has held the spot of top-searched performer on our for the past three months. And it’s easy to see why. Her scenes are top-notch and she always brings it with her acting ability.
“Whether she is shooting with Dan O’Connell or Skow, she adapts to their directing style and kills it every time. One thing we appreciate is her physical ability as well as her acting chops. If you’ve seen any of her scenes you’ll notice these unique Yoga positions that she does. It’s almost like she is inventing new ways to have girl/girl sex. She is a dynamic performer and we are super lucky that she has become a huge part of our veteran cast list in such a short amount of time.”
Siren also has racked up multiple credits for all-girl stalwarts such as Girlsway and Sweetheart Video to go along with performances for Hustler Video, , among others.
She squared off with Mona Wales in Confessions of a Sinful Nun 2: The Rise of Sister Mona under the direction of Ricky Greenwood.
“I’m dying to work for Ricky again; I love his work,” Siren says. “I hope I get booked for again…
“I feel like I’m trying my hardest and I’m giving a lot of energy to this industry and I hope they continue to use me and I hope they know my flame is strong and it will keep burning for a while.”
Siren continues, “I worry a little too much and I think I care too much. There are a lot of girls in this industry that don’t give a fuck and I’m not one of those. I genuinely care and I want to hear the feedback if it’s bad or good… If I talk too dirty, tell me…”
She hasn’t talked too much smack for Sabina Rouge, who went down on her for “Serene Siren is not only super sweet but she really is a great performer!” Rouge tells AVN. “Every video she’s in you can see how much she loves it, which makes the scenes turn out beautifully!”
Veteran glamour photographer Dean Capture has also witnessed Siren’s work ethic first-hand.
“I recently shot Serene for the first time in a girl/girl and I was immediately taken by her striking beauty as well as her professionalism,” Capture tells AVN. “Serene's scene partner was Lacy Lennon and Lacy was so excited that Serene had agreed to do this scene with her. I really appreciate that Serene was on time, prepared and ready to make a great first impression—and I was certainly impressed.
“I love that she was so collaborative when it came to her character for this scene and that she really loves having sex with girls. It's no secret that some girl/girl performers are not really into girls but that's not the case with Serene. She loves girls and loves having sex with girls. To be honest, I can't wait to shoot her again.”
Siren, who is scheduled to receive her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Technical Communications in the coming weeks, says porn has turned into a full-time job.
“I’ve been booked all the time now, so it’s kind of great. But at the same time I’m trying not to overdo it because the most important thing is my family, being there with them at special times,” Siren says. “And I’m also a student and I’m on my last semester and then I’m done. So I just am trying to not to mess it up.”
Siren says her major is “basically a writing degree.”
“Web authoring, online communications, social media, digital design. I’ve done Photoshopping, video editing, music editing. It’s kind of like a Computer Science degree. … I had done three years on Honors, like full ride. I had a great thing going for me until I had my first baby. I still kept trying,” Siren says. “Then when I was pregnant with my second one it was like super hot out and I’m like big and I’ve got this newborn. I just decided OK, I gotta stop. But there’s like one paper that I didn’t do. And that one paper would’ve helped my scholarship for when I came back. And I didn’t do that one paper, so when I came back it’s like financial aid and student loan stuff.
“It’s important that I do this right now because I have to stay ahead. Because otherwise it’s so easy to just—between mortgage and kids and everything else—to just fall behind.”
Siren says she’s always been “a hustler.”
“I’ve always worked multiple jobs,” she says. “When I wasn’t working I was doing multiple sports. I don’t like stagnant unless I’m playing video games and then I get really lazy. Those can absorb me for hours and hours and I don’t understand it. There’s so many of them now that I’m like I can’t stop! And then like I play with my kids, too, and that’s really fun.
“Like I should be playing ball with them but instead we’re on Apex Legends or Overwatch. Like this is bad, I’m a bad influence. But we do play soccer and run and do all that fun stuff, too. I try to keep a balance.”
Siren competed in gymnastics until she was 14, reaching Level 8—two levels below elite—and becoming a three-time state champion in the All-Around event.
“Then I got my belly-button pierced and got into boys and that’s when I started weight training and working jobs,” she says. “I was very serious—passed up Hawaii trips to do gymnastics.”
When her parents divorced there was not enough money for Siren to continue gymnastics—a pricey sport. So she tried cheerleading but “just hated it.”
“Because gymnasts and cheerleaders have always had this kind of rivalry in a way. When I was younger I hated makeup; I hated looking pretty; I thought they were so stupid that they wanted so much attention. So it was hard for me and now looking back I think I would’ve loved it,” she says. “Because I feel like a cheerleader now. I’m always singing and cheering and dancing and stuff. I’m like, ‘God, I would’ve been a great cheerleader.’ I don’t know what was wrong with me.’ I don’t know why I didn’t. I haven’t even got to play one in porn yet.
“It’s because I’m always the MILF; MILFs aren’t cheerleaders.”
Siren says her plan is to graduate and then, “I think my biggest goal for the rest of this year is to organize my schedule better.”
“Because I’ve gotten so much into the mentality where I say ‘yes’ to every job. ‘Yes, I’ll do it.’ But then I end up with a shoot on the 2nd, 8th and 15th. If I was better, I want to say, ’Yes, but I’m not available except for these days.’
“I don’t necessarily want more work; I just want to organize my work better and I want to feel less like I’m constantly pursuing.”
Siren adds, “That’s one thing I’m learning in my education—branding is everything. It’s taken me this long to figure out if I’m going to stay. Now I’m stuck; I’m in it. Not stuck in a bad way but I’m glued to it; I’m devoted to it. I see myself here for 10 years. I want to see myself as a GILF. I think that is something that I’m just making sure that I don’t burn myself out and I keep this nice, steady energy, so that every time I show up on set I have it. And I have that spark.”
Siren, who will celebrate her 30th birthday later this month and can be booked through started off doing fine art modeling not long after turning 18.
“I had a Model Mayhem for 10 years before they deleted it because I did some posts they didn’t like,” she says. “And then they denied me every time I tried to go back on there. I don’t even know why.
“I did a lot of pin-up modeling, fine art modeling, a lot of the Yoga-style stuff and the landscape art, where it’s a beautiful landscape and then there’s an ethereal naked woman by the pond. I did a lot of that type of stuff and I really liked that. And then I did maternity modeling. And this was all before I did porn.
“I did maternity modeling for quite a long time—I was in magazines for that. Then I shot for Tantra Chair, which is an incredible company. was technically my first ever porn, but it was softcore.
“It didn’t show the pussy or the dick but that was with my baby’s daddy and we did a positions video and it’s like this kind of S-shaped Tantra Chair. And so we did this really beautiful demonstration of sexual positions. And it went viral almost immediately. But they only posted it on their website, so it’s not like it’s on YouTube viral. But it was insane. That was when I still had my milky titties—my real tits. It was quite a sight, I’ll have to admit.”
Siren also modeled for Tantra Chair’s sister company, Zen By Design.
“And that was probably my first campaign type thing. I loved it; there was something that was so freeing and so rebellious,” she says. “Because I had always been such a good girl. The worst thing I had done was got my bellybutton pierced.
“I never got kicked out of school, never got grounded, always had straight A’s, paid for my own car. I didn’t ever do anything bad. But I’ve always been horny—always been so fucking sexual. I just want to rub my clit on things. This is like my pressure release valve, doing this girl/girl porn. It really does calm me down as a person. Because it’s like so satisfying.
“I definitely found out I was an exhibitionist kind of early on through modeling. I got off on the attention, I guess.”
Siren, who has fielded countless offers to do scenes with guys, did do a few boy/girl scenes—including one earlier this year—for Naughty America with her significant other before deciding that was not what she wanted to do.
“I did one—My First Sex Teacher—which was amazing. I loved it. It was super cool. And then I did two VR porn’s with him,” she says.
“Overall I didn’t respond like I thought I would to the boy/girl. I thought I’d really like it and I’d show off all my cock-sucking skills. I’d show these girls how a real woman fucks, you know,” Siren says. “But seriously at the end of the day I had no desire to fuck any other male talent. Because that was always an option and I just really didn’t.
“There was nothing wrong with them or anything but I wasn’t wanting it. I wasn’t desiring it in any way. Instead I was more sure than ever that I wanted to stay girl/girl. And that’s not saying I would never do boy/girl. I just am currently really into girls. I really like women and I don’t want anything to do with another dick right now.”
Siren says she’s not in porn for money, even though she’s doing fine in that department.
“I kind of came back onto this full bore because I wanted pussy and I just don’t feel that urge for dick right now,” she adds. “Maybe once I get satiated on the pussy then I’ll crave cock again.
“I’m not closed off to it or anything. I’m doing what I want because that’s how I know I will extend my career.”
