Chapter 5


On the way home Kaylee was smiling brightly in the passenger seat, looking just as cute as can be.

"So...I have my first real boyfriend!" I was always pleased to see her so happy.

"Yep! I guess you do." I replied.

"And he really loves me."

"And I really love him." She said with conviction.

I took my eyes off the road for a moment to look over at her. She looked so young, but her words were well said and intelligent.
