All the voices of the actors were recorded, and the animations are awful. There are even a few inconsistencies in the voice acting in which characters appear to be talking, but there's no noise.
Though there is a lot of criticisms about some of the moves that players are able to perform, particularly the maddening lag on the kick gauge, there are a couple of interesting additions that are fun to pull off.
The side throw, dead foot and dead leg are two new techniques that aid in combating defense. This gives players a wider range of ways to make the defender not miss. With these new moves, the gameplay is slightly more fluid and that is what was desperately needed in this game.
The Franchise mode has been completely ignored and is very identical to last year's Madden. EA hasn't even tried to alter the layout of the mode, so if this is one of the modes that made players fell in over previous year's Madden There's no point in spending $60 for the new version.
This aspect of the game has been almost unchanged for the past two seasons, and it's an affront at people who have purchased the game. It's the sly tactics of this that make a large portion of EA sport games so bad.
